For Maureen (Mo, right?!),

Nice to read your post. I remember you from gymnastics--no, I wasn't a gymnast, but played piano for some of the girls' floor ex. routines!

In junior high, I was very close friends with Anna Aguirre, and we stayed in touch with her family, so I do know a bit about her death. I believe it was a brain aneurysm. In any case, it was sudden and she died much too young. Anna is buried at the Fairview Cemetery in Essex Jct., the cemetery kind of back behind the high school. My father, grandparents, and uncle are in the Rood plot there, and whenever I go to pay my respects on my trips to Vermont, I always stop and say a prayer at Anna's grave, too. In addition, Scott Potter (from my class) and Kim Willey (also from my class) are buried at that cemetery, and honestly, walking from row to row, it's like a trip into the past for me, all these names of Essex Jct. people I knew growing up there.

Anna was a delightful, exuberant soul and I will always remember her giggle and turquoise eyes. She was a character!

Maureen, are you kin to Sean? I knew a Sean Hennesey on South Street in a two (or three) story grey house. I think he lived across the steet from John Kuhn (sp).
