She had lived with him all her life. She wasn't totally clueless to how he felt and acted. She breathed a sigh. Now she knew the truth. Her brother wasn't always like this. He beat up on her a lot, but he never showed threats to those on his own side. She knew what it was that played in his mind...she had been there when it all began. In her mind's eyes she watched that days events on fast fwd, slowing when she got to the wanted part. (^) (^) Her father had just enter their den. He strode in gracefully, head high and tail raised. He greeted his children in higher tones then usually. Alo remembered this because it puzzled her that her father would be excited about anything. Then he gathered them around and dropped a rabbit for them. Alo took her part and ate happily as she listened to her dad’s account of his day. He started in about something about Fire....that part was fuzzy to her...oh yes. Then he spoke of a pup, one of the most wonderful pups....(^) (^) The image of that day faded away as she heard Demon’s question. Her view was now filled of the pup she had just been thinking about. That’s right...Silver had spoken very highly of Demon. How he wouldn’t have minded him as a son and bunch of stuff like that. There was the problem...Death Trap was jealous to a degree of the pup his father seemed to like better. That was it! She put two and two together and had solved the puzzle. He was jealous of Demon! She looked down at the clueless pup and smiled. ‘I’m not sure what’s wrong with him’ She lied easily. She didn’t want to make the pup feel bad for what he couldn’t help.
