George--- use a rotary van which by design will not break either pressure or vacuum. Back in the 1950's there was a 315 CFM compressor that use this principal. The revolving vans were off center to create the intake increasing pressure flow. But your problem much simpler as all you wish is to maintain a constant flow.

John will certainly have an idea as he has designed both constant air and pulsating drywashers.

However, it is my "take" that out in the desert areas "small
and portable" is the better way to go. I have always found that "sniping" the best-- to be portable and energy efficient. Today the BLM/FS could want a plan of operation or a notice of intent.

I add this last paragraph to stimulate converation pro an con. There are many who visit the forum and move on.
