I have a Gold Strike... with the standard and smaller coil. I bought it and used it little.

Roy Evans in Imlay Nev. pulled out over 4-ounces of eluvial gold back when it was first introduced. And I have heard good reports that it is doing well as a relic machine.

IMO... Fisher should have added a preset full range Disc.
mode to the original Gold Bug.

If anyone reading this thread has a small elliptical coil for the old Gold Bug... Jerry B. may be interested... for a friend who is looking for one... Jerry monitors this forum so if anyone has one just give a shout.
