Man alive, that REALLY says a lot about my great ol' GB2!! The smaller coil rocks with tiny gold and easy to use in tight spaces(under brush, cracks, and crevices) BUT sometimes ya get tired of finding the tiny rice and smaller size gold. The larger coil goes quite deeper to find larger deep nuggets just fine.I use both in some areas with a bedrock and gravel bar situations.Best built detector I've owned in many years.BUT(again)for trashy areas I still utilize my trusty Tesoro LST to save the day!!Tons a au 2 u 2-John
