The coils are all ellipical concentrically wound. You will possibly find the standard coil is noisy as it will see more
trash. From what I know, those that used the Goldstrike liked it, but most preferred the smaller 6.5-inch coil.

There was to be a 14-inch coil, but it was never manufactured.
