Hey Randy--- I've been finding a few "bits" in the same piles you mention with my LST as well as while using another detector. Using the small accessory coils in both cases.

Hey Anyone close to Randsburg Area: The PLP is putting on a planted (tame) nugget/silver-coin/meteorite hunt on the Taft property on Sunday, April 19th. Dee Stapp at Stapp Mining is the master of cerimonies.

It is open to anyone interested. It is virtually unadvertised as it will be kept to about 20-30 participants due to needing to plant field evenly and maintain quality.
