Mike,

I wouldn't exactly call it a closet sitter as so far it's the most stable metal detector I've ever used and it goes deep! I bought the 15" elliptical and took it up to the Stringer District and worked the tall tailing piles and was cursing under my breath cause I had to dig so deep for every target as I'm not used to digging that deep with the other VLF gold machines I've owned.

Consequently I don't ever plan on selling it and it will be a nice complement to a PI.

P.S. I highly recommend that you send it in to the factory for the free alignment, made a world of differance for my detector as the capacitors in the loop and control head drift with age. Call the factory for more info.
