Derogatory replies to Mr. Siemers message have been deleted for obvious reasons. If you have nothing positive to contribute, please take your postings elsewhere.

As for those of us who are regulars here, maybe someone knows of a good GB-2 that someone might have for sale at a good price that might not mind taking payments on it. Mr. Siemers sent me an eMail earlier in the evening explaining his situation, and requested that his post be deleted to avoid causing any problems for the forum or the rest of the forum users here. But I think maybe we should try to help him out if at all possible, and show him that the majority in this hobby of gold detecting are actually much different than the few who have tried to denigrate his intentions and interests in joining us.

In his own words.....

...."Due to placeing the post on this forum,I have recieved several derogatory e-mails calling me everything from a con artist up to a no good s_ _ for posting on this forum. I am a single father raising my disabled daughter on my own that has RETT SYNDROME and is totaly disabled and requires 24 hour care for all her needs and I am forced to live on SSI income of $552.00 per month in order to take care of her. Please remove my post as I did'nt ask for all this name calling and I respect ypur forum enough to have the post removed to keep it from dis-respecting this forum that I have enjoyed learning so much about finding nuggets and where to go and the how to of findinding a nugget once I am able to get a GB2 detector..

As far as I am concerned, we are all friends here..... or at least that was my intention in establishing this forum for all to use to give and get help to and from others along the way. This world is what we make of it guys, and some of the cold insults toward another person who only wants to become one of us and enjoy our same interests and activities is not the way any one of us would want to be treated.

So what do you say ? How about we make Mr. Siemers feel appreciated and welcome here rather than taking it upon ourselves to judge someone who might have every good intention in mind while others are pointing fingers and creating suspicions ?
