Subject: Need that 12" Jimmy Sierra coil

You said it. I find that I just cant run the 950 at much above 9 on the gain, or it just goes into overload on the soil. Because I can run the 6x3 at +3, I figure I am probably getting at least as good if not better depth with the 6x3 than I am with the 950. I have not purchased the 10 inch DD coil, simply because having both the 10 and 12 DD makes no sense - too much alike.

I figure the 12 DD will become my "standard coil" for most situations when it comes out. As far as the 9x2 vs the 6x3, I don't have the 9x2, so I cannot say much about it, but I really like the 6x3 very much, great for small gold, no problem picking up 1/2 grain and smaller nuggets with it.

Guess we will just have to wait.

Chris
