I have not as of yet tried the 15-inch WOT AT on my 17000. I suspect that in the different soil conditions both the 6.4 and 32 will be choices.

I had a "green box" Eureka Dual Ace. It came with 2 coils, the 8-inch circular DD and also a 6-inch circular DD. For some reason, this was a long time ago, I did not like it at the time as I was mentally into the larger and deeper nuggets that the FT-16000 was capable of finding at this time at both Ryepatch and Quartzsite. Actually, the FT-16000 "purred like a kitten" in section 17 (Ryepatch) while detecting with snow on the ground.

At this time I also had a yellow box Mark-2 which was similar to a GT/FT-16000, but manual ground balance. I liked it.

However, I'm sure the EDA was ahead of its time; if I had it to do over again I think I would have liked it. It would have possibly been competitive to the original GB and maybe the GM-2.

Both the control boxes, EDA and MK-2 mysterously disappeared--- I had loaned them out--- but not the wands/coils. I later sold the coils/wands separate.

The 2100 has two channels. I never owned one but used one slightly. It was thought that channel-2 should be set slightly positive as it would enhance the detecting of smaller gold. What channel one did not cover, channel two would. Both were to work together to cover the complete spectrum of gold. Actually, I have seen a lot of nice gold as found with the 2100 so I have a lot of respect for it.
