Took me a while to finish laughing, Jim. Naw, it was an old Garrett "Motorboat"--maybe 71 or 72?--heck, I still kind of like them. I'm sure not a "papered geologist" and tend to interchange (or confuse) saprolite with decomposed bed rock--so many terms to remember as the memory fades. Just for something to chew on--that came out of Gila Conglomerate--my God, but that must have been a wide river! 200 miles or so?
