I'm new to gold detecting, though I've been a coin and relic hunter for more than 20 years and a prospector for the last three. I live in south-central Oregon and belong to the GPAA. Can you give me some general info on where to go in NW Nevada? I've ordered Delos Toole's book "Nugget-teering in Nevada", but it hasn't come yet. I'm trying to get my plans for spring ready, am experienced in desert camping, but besides the Rye Patch area, have no leads on NW Nevada. Any help would be greatly appreciated. May every one of your signals be gold!
