Subject: What to buy and where to go?

I've read that this forum is frequented by several Nevada hunters, so here's a couple questions: First, I am about to purchase my first gold detector (own 2 Tesoro coin & relic machines)and have narrowed it down to either the White's MXT, Tesoro Lobo ST, or, with a bit more money, the Garrett Infinium. I won't buy another machine until this one pays for itself. I live in south-central Oregon and plan to hunt in NW Nevada, Northern California and SW Oregon. What do ya experts say? Next: Are there any suggestions for locations in NW or Northern Nevada? I belong to GPAA, but they don't have any claims in that area.
