I've got to admit... those are amazingly small nuggets for a PI unit. Good work!

I think what small gold capability is good for is:

A. Telling you where you might want to set up that drywasher, sluice box, etc. You need the capability to find them for that, and

B. Unfortunately, that might be all there is to detect! It might make no more sense then coin hunitng for pennies. My wife still questions that. But I tell her it's for fun and relaxation. And so if all you have are those little ones, it does make for a little detecting fun, and beats going home with nothing.

And they can add up. I've spent a day with a VLF detector and a small coil, picking those little guys in an area within arms reach, and had an ounce of gold by the end of the day. Maybe I should have setup a drywasher... but I did not have one!
