As too Ralphs last statement about hundreds of pounds of meteorites left by prospectors as pesky hot rocks !!!!! Yep it was at least that !!!!! :o):o) As the meteorite hunt at gold basin was under way Jim K. and I looked for the pot holed areas (signs of detectors)!! Once we found those signs some of the detectorists had nicely placed the meteorite in the center of the hole , some were on the lip in the pile of dirt . Yet others were in the bushes next to the holes !!!
