Hi John! No, the Sierra Goldmax will not work on the MXT; wrong operating frequencies. But, the 10" standard coil goes VERY deep, especially considering that the MXT operates at 14.7 kHz (just the ticket for bigger nuggets in AZ soil). The 950 coil is a concentric design, however there is a 10" DD available. Currently, the MXT is only in rod-mount, but I keep bugging them for a chest mount version, so maybe.... And, yes, the Bigfoot for the DFX and the MXT HAS been released. Hope this helps; HH Jim
