Howdy guys. I find all coils become heavy--- even a bodymounted 10-inch elliptical--- after awhile; and therefore I have experimented with bungy cords. With the right combo of harness and cords you will be able to handle most anything all day long. Even one as large as 18x24-inches.

For some very interested reading on a few tips; there will be a short article on full-time detecting for eluvial gold associated with epithermal gold deposits within the cordillera in the upcoming September issue of ICMJ which will be on the news stands by the end of August.

Then in October there will be a followup of the tips that the fulltimer has used so successfully over the past 4-5 years. I mention this to plug the ICMJ as it is the leading voice for us small scale prospectors and miners.

I bought my first copy of the "journal" about Jan, 1948, and have followed it since then. Over the years tidbits of information--- such as Dave Varabioff's information on "fake nuggets" have been invaluable as a reference.
