Jim,

Thank you for responding so quickly!
Wow, and I thought the GMT was the ultimate VLF Gold machine. A VERY wise move of White's in sliding the frequency of the GMT down to where it could be used in the most hostile soils(THANK YOU!).
You should be getting my order around Sept./Oct. for one of these and I can hardly wait to hit the Rand Slopes with it per Dr. Straights carefull advice. Now we have the right tool in finding the course of the Ancient River Channels and close to home I will be walking all over the Western San Gabriel Range for places the veins are as I believe we ain't through finding decent gold up there yet!
I've been drywashing the spot just below Bear Cyn. and have gotten flakes and wet processing the soil from the Little Nugget Claim with the same results. I'm especially interested in the latter claim because it's the only place besides the East Fork area that nuggets were found in the range and this is where all the info. the MXT display is going to pay off big time. It really takes the wind out of my sails when I have to just hunt and peck, knowing that I could be actually reading the soils characteristics with the MXT.

Thanks again for the info!

Randy Seden
P.S. I would like to make up a skid plate for mounting the MXT coil and have the display mounted on a bracket on a hunters minibike, would that be possible? Now that's prospecting!
