Great to hear that your recovering and can see good. I haven't spoke to Randy in a bit. I was out at his spot in Sand Gulch a few weeks ago and got a ton of black sand for all my shoveling into my drywasher. I haven't recv'd any emails from him since then, although I admit, I haven't sent him one either. Need to do that. He wants me to get my ham radio antenna fixed so we can communincate via hamradio but I haven't gotten up on the roof to do it yet.

I am planning on getting back over to the area you pointed out to us soon but I've had other weekend activites that have taken priority. I did get out to scout some places this last weekend and made it out to the Rocky Road claim (AVTHS) with a buddy of mine from work who is a member.

This time of the year I tend to only go out for a few hours early in the morning as the temps are into the triple digits here now by noon, as you well know.

I suspect your 'big-un' (and hopefully one for me too) is in the next tailing pile. I am still digging all targets even though I am developing a sense of what it may be before I dig. I am still finding very small lead pieces and frags of bullet jackets (copper) along with the standard square nail and bits of wire, etc.

Good Luck to you on the 'big-un' and hopefully we'll get face to face soon for another cup of Joe,

Gene
