Hi Jim,

Fair enough! All I can say is that in my area on that really small stuff this coil is the cat's meow! I just got back from putting on a Gold Show yesterday and had Steve Houston from White's there. I put on a "how to detect" seminar in actual ground. I used the Gold Bug 2 with 6.5" coil as my unit, as it has proven to me it will do the job.

I found a very small piece, about .2 grain, in front of the crowd. A guy took it over to Steve, and insisted he try it with the GMT and the Mini DD. I could almost hear Steve thinking "please, please, do it!" And no problem, the GMT hit the flake.

I truly have no idea how it will work elsewhere, but the coil is really great for me and my customers.

Finally, I have no "pull". I just really made noise about this one! Sometimes the squeaky wheel does get the grease!!
