Back in the 1980's, with gold prices climbing dramatically the late Duane Wilkinson of "Wilkinsons Assay" brought this problem about "fake" nuggets to my attention. For those of you who have a copy of my book, Vol 3, I quoted Duane regarding this on page 1, Gold Values. It is sad that there are those that would resort to such practive. I'm glad that Dave has written the article. I hope everyone buys a copy of it.
