Hi RD,

I do a lot of coin and jewelry hunting in addition to my nugget hunting. If I had to own one, and only one detecter, it would be the Tesoro Lobo.

I especially liked your waterproof comment. I floated the idea of a Lobo in the Tiger Shark case on the Tesoro Forum, and it gots lots of positive responses.

I think this would be a fantastic idea. Suction dredgers could really use an underwater nugget detector for checking the perimeter of their excavations. Freshwater lake hunters could find those thin gold rings and chains. And guys working in pouring down rain, in the mud, or even in very dusty areas would benefit from a machine protected from the environment. I would be able to wade across creeks without worrying about falling in with my detector.

I've even had a few inquiries about buying such a unit now. I guess I'd better give Tesoro a call!
