Jim, you are FAR from being a jinx; rather, you are an inspiration to all us "young 'uns." You have probably forgotten more about auriferous subjects that the majority of today's "experts" will even begin to know. Furthermore, the demise of "Treasure," "Search," "Found," "Treasure Seekers," "America's Treasure Search" magazines can't be laid on your doorstep; limited-circulation hobby magazines have a high mortality rate. I, too, miss, them; despite the hassle of deadlines, it was nice to be "in the thick of things." Boy, the stories I could tell that we NEVER published... whoa! Glad to hear your aunt got your grand-dad's token. You oughta write a story, even a book, on his mining and saloon adventures. Anyway, gotta go; my turn to cook dinner tonight, and Hawkeye will give me my choice of blindfold colors if it ain't done on time! HH Jim
