Subject: Excuse me while I glow

Sunshine might get a chuckle if she reads this. A few months ago, she sent me to a forum she thought might catch my interest. I noticed that someone had posted a link to an article on chem trails and decided to follow it. My knowledge on the subject was vague. I'd heard about them, as I'm sure many of you have, but had never really followed up. Photographs posted at the linked site caught my interest immediately. It took me 3 hours, but I checked back through my note files looking for comments I made about seeing these odd "jet" trails one afternoon this fall. I found in my notes dated October 4:

"12:51 p.m. Just came out of the bedroom. Had walked in there for something and noticed a plane with a jet fuel trail approaching from the west. I noticed four other trails parallel to that one and all headed in the same direction: due west. They seemed to converge somewhat as I looked toward the west. It is rare to see even one trail in our neck of the woods, especially after the closure of Plattsburgh. Wonder what's up?"

This afternoon, I happened to think of this and went to the living room window to take a peek at the blue sky overhead. The sky was cluttered with the same trails. My son happened to be coming up the front steps as he returned from RPI and I rapped on the window and pointed, indicating that he should take a look. I grabbed the digital camera and ran for the upper deck, where I shot numerous photos. The sun was blinding me up there, so I headed back down to the front porch. I handed the camera to my son, who took some more photos. He then called a friend at our local TV station, told her to go out and look at the sky, and sent her the photos we'd taken. Half an hour later, I took a couple more and he sent them, as well. It was still going on as the sky began to darken. These are a few of the pics I took this afternoon.
