Subject: How many liberals does it take to screw in a light bulb?

I wonder if liberals ever consider the fact that most laws they scream to have created are "necessary" only because of the actions of those who think as they do - that freedom means being able to do what you want with no consideration for others? Freedom is not the same as freedom from responsibility and accountability. Liberals seem to feel that they are the "conscience" of America and the World, yet it is their penchant for blaming others (no liberal is ever to blame for anything) and their so-called desire to be thought of as non-judgemental that is at the heart of our problems. To a liberal, the word "conscience" is defined as "if it feels good, it must be good." Survival of the fittest means the human species can only survive by being judgemental. The other part of the problem is that liberals cannot see past the end of their own noses. "I want it and I want it now!" is their mantra, followed by "What's good for me is good for you!" (Never would you hear a liberal say, "if it's good for everybody else, then it doesn't matter if it's good for me.")

They do not recognize the value of sacrificing immediate personal gratification for the greater good of humanity down the road. They are unable to see that it is unwise to round off the edges off square pegs to force them into round holes. If Edison had been raised within the confines of our current education system, we might still be living in the dark. Who was it who said out of chaos comes order and out of too much order comes chaos?

I taught my children to have respect for their neighbors, but I never told them they had to like them or that they were required to sanction the behaviors exhibited by them.

Socialism destroys human spirit. Wake up, America. Before it's too late.
