Subject: My grown children are driving me crazy!!!

I live with my married son and his wife and two children. This arrangment is by mutual consent and we all benefit from it. BUT.....Sometimes my son treatrs me like I am his child. He actually gets after me for not being in a good mood. For not eating with gthe family...I like to eat alone sometimes. And here is the one that is really getting to me....He is mad becasue I went out on a date with a man and did not click with him and so did not want to see him again and my som got ticked off saying /It is all becasue I had my surgery and I am too afraid to date. Not the reason at all, we had nothing in common. My kid went on and on about how I just do not want to leave the house etc etc....ad infinitum. I want to know when he became the parent and I became the child. I am only 55, he is 28. Sheesh. Well I broke it off with the man in question and now my son is mad. Why date someone just to please someone else??

Sighs some days you can't win for loosing LOL.
