I would like all people to know that by and large we have a great thing going here in the USA. I am an English woman who lives here by choice and does not regret it one bit. Yes there are times when Yanks can get a bit bizzare or too way out there, but that is what makes it so good to be here. Anyone can say and do as they wish, have what ever political affiliation they want and not fear a "knock at the door" some night. This place is full of wise and endearing folk. We protect ourselves in the best way we can. The young men and women who go off to protect and serve this country make me, a Nam vet very proud. We maynot always get it right, but for the most part, we do it very well here in this country. And to any who would try and undermine this joy and love we have here, Beware, and be afraid, for we as a people always band together and fight the good fight ....rememebr 9/11, when some tryed to drive this place over the edge and only succeeded in making us stronger and more bonded!!

This a country of mountains and valleys, a country where christian and jew can walk hand in hand, where tolerance is a way of life and where slowley but surely all people, large and small, black, white or otherwise will come together and live and laugh and love. No you who would try and destroy us, you will not succeed. We are strong and whole and great. We are mighty!! So let this Brit who loves America say this, Old Glory wave and flow about and put your folds of red and white and blue around us and beneth us and steady us in our days of trials and joys. I am happy to live here and glad to have served this country. I have no regrets at all. I stand tall and with my fellows. Blessed Be.
