Subject: The gentle sound of rain and wind chimes

It's so quiet right now. Father Dan came to talk to me about the lion. He wanted to know a little about this man who has effected the lives of so many people. Father was somewhat confused as I talked about Laf and who could blame him? I played Laf's arrangement of Ave Maria for him and I felt as though the lion was sitting there with us enjoying his music and watching for a sign of approval from the priest.

I wanted you all to know that I have come and read and I thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I read Joe's post. I chose laughter and I think the lion would have approved. Thank you, Joe. A special note to cro and conserv. Thank you for coming and adding your thoughts. Cro, I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother. Conserv, it was wonderful to chat with you the other night - I thank you both.

Hope, Draggie, Ron and Bar, thank YOU for your friendship. You've helped hold me up through all of this.

The lion's funeral will be held at 2 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon at St. Anna's Church 836 E. Spring St., Monroe, GA 30655.

I know you all will be with us in spirit.

Sage
