Subject: Laf & The Rat

Years ago I had an alter ego version of the real me. It was swamprat. I had to tow the line with my other handle, ronhobbs, because I would get into trouble whenever I broke loose and started to be funny (in my opinion).

All of us would be in a chat room (Castorbunny,laf, BRafterty, conserv00, counterparts. cureos, eyechat, piper, greenraven, naturalfrequency, thirty9nholding, mercury, lori and a few I'm sure I've left out because I forgot (It's been a long time). We would get together at night and have fun.
Laf always would get the humor going when it got out of hand and we started to get serious. But it was lots of fun and I miss those nights. Now we've all moved on into the 21st century and the thrill is mostly gone for the fun we once had in the late 90's.

Politics played a part and, a lot of the reason we started getting serious, instead of just having fun. We all got together at the begining in a political chat roon, battling it out with the Clinton, IPUTUS (Impeached President of the United States) supporters.

I could drag this out, but I think I've made my point.

I will miss laf a lot, even ehough I only talked with him one time on the phone( my email sent him an unknown virus and he was pissed).

Laf, I want you to be buried in a National Cemetery for Veterans, because you did your time in Viet Nam and deserve only the best..
