Patsy, thank you! How perfect. He lived life in the front seat of his own personal roller coaster. He found a way to create joy everyplace he went. A few days before he died, he was working, trying to get info for a client who wanted a credit card for his fleet of vehicles. Before I left Georgia to visit my kids in upstate NY, I got a letter from the woman he'd talked to. It was an application for the Lion's client, but with the application, she included a personal letter telling him what an inspiration he'd been to her. They had spoken on the phone for less than 10 minutes. One of the nurses he'd had at the local hospital called to ask if he could still do her taxes. I had to call her and give her the news. She'd kept Laf company throughout the wee hours when I'd gone home to get some sleep, even pushing his bed up against the windows and bringing in a fan so he could have a smoke without having to bundle up to go outside. She told me she'd had an odd experience in regard to a financial matter. She'd been putting off doing something and suddenly heard Laf's voice advising her to take care of whatever it was she'd been putting off. She took care of it immediately and her entire financial situation changed overnight.

I wonder if he knows the winning numbers for the MegaMillion drawing????

Thank you, Patsy, for posting this on a day when I am feeling such a loss. You gave me the ability to brush away tears and smile.
