Subject: A Gift of loving kindness I MUST acknowledge

Sage-arooni has twin daughters, Janna and Gretchen, as well as another daughter, Kate, and a son, Nate. They have all been accepting of me in their mother's life and gone out of their way to show it. I am most grateful for that and have no words available that could express how much their acceptance has meant to me. A simple "Thank You" doesn't begin to cover my gratitude to her and them.

It's easy to see that the apple doesn't fall very far from the tree with them. They all have their mother's innate goodness and kindness. Recently Janna was returning home with her infant daughter and arrived to see a sun shower as she parked. She says she was thinking about my situation and how it would affect her and all of them - especially her mom - when she was inspired to write and send me some lyrics that were in her head and heart. She did and asked me to set them to music for her.

Her lyrics were humbling and very emotional for me. I couldn't wait to get started on the musical accompaniment. That same night I began working on the melody to match the lyrics and the musical structure of the song. It came effortlessly, almost as if sent from a higher source. I can claim little credit for the music for the words brought forth the music with little thought or work on my part. The difficulty was in me learning to play it correctly so that I could record it. That took several days, but the job has been done. The music is there along with the lyrics and those will scroll for you as you listen. I'd like very much to share the song, the words and Janna's kindness with all of you. Such wonder needs to be shared with those you care about and you folks fit that bill.

Looking for a rainbow, smiling down again
