Once again, I near the end of another thirteen day run of Hell (3 days chemotherapy followed by ten consecutive days of growth hormones that debilitate and decimiate and now one more day of Procrit to build my blood back up), so I haven't had the energy or the ability to even check my computer and e-mail. Necessity places me in front of the computer today, no matter how I feel. While I was getting ready to do the work that places me here, I checked my neglected e-mail accounts. I was thrilled to get an e-mail update from Draggie's daughter-in-law, Kat.

It seems Draggie endured the knee replacement surgery just fine and is already on the mend. She has been transferred to an after-care facility where she will be for about three weeks while she undergoes physical therapy to help her regain full use of her knee. We hope to have her bawdy rowdiness back with us in about three weeks or so and we will welcome her back with joy. Anyone wishing to send her a snail mail get well card can contact Secretary Sage for the mailing address. I would love it if some of you would do that. I know how special those snail mail cards and notes can be and I know the folks here are all good people who would enjoy making one of our own feel better and accepted. Take it from me, when you don't feel well, there's a pallative effect from receiving such well wishes. SOme of you folks have done it for me, and you have no idea how much getting such a card and personal note means to someone not feeling so swift.

To Kat and Andy, who check in on a regular basis so they can keep Draggie aware of what is going on here,let her know that she is sorely missed and cared for deeply. We can't wait for one of her bawdy bombasts to grace our lives and this Forum again real soon.
