Subject: Angels When They're Needed - an addition

Just what the Hell is a "care giver?"

I often listen as Sage makes telephone calls to arrange transportation to doctors' offices, dentists, hospitals, labs for tests, pharmacies for prescriptions and the myriad other things she manages in my life for me these days because I no longer can do so effectively. In those calls, she identifies herself by name, adding that she's calling as "care giver" for me. She does it every time and each time she identifies herself as such, it stikes a responsive chord in me that has a deeper meaning that has eluded me until now. How did I find the words to explain?

Yesterday, one of my friends/clients called to just check on my condition. She said something I found to be intensely significant. Her words in broken English helped me formulate an answer to my own question.

I have added this essay to my "Lafcadio T. Lion's Thoughts of the Day" page. I invite you to go there and read it. It is Musing No. 8 and its title is "Angels When They're Needed." It is important to me that everyone who visits here does read it. Here's a link to make it easy to go there: Click here. Use the back button n your browser to return here when you're done.

Any comments anyone cares to add here after reading it will be greatly appreciated.
