Lion, there isn't much I can say except "thank you." You know the music you put to those words has special meaning for me because it was the first song you wrote after I joined you at the hovel.

Yes, I did all those things you mentioned, but we are a team and you do things for me, too, when I'm not feeling up to a certain task. (Angels also have their moments, ya know?)

Draggie says that love is "never giving up." I don't know as that is always a true statement, but I think you've met your match in me. I can be just as stubborn and ornery as the one in the lion suit. And it is when you begin to see the love behind that that you will understand how much I do love you.

As my grandson and I would say to each other:

"I think you're the best!
"No, I think YOU'RE the best!"
"I think we're BOTH the best!"
"Me, too!"

And from my mom:

"I can't," said the ant.
"But you must," said the crust."

We do what we have to do until it is done and then we do it again. With love. Remember happiness is a journey, not a destination.
