Subject: Why are people like this??????

I was a member of another forum for a long time. And for the most part it was ok. I knew the Aussie owner for a long time. Now they all knew I was a Wiccan/witch. THen someone started to make nasty comments to me about my chosen path and I left the board for quite a while. Recently the owner asked me to please go back and said that there would be no further trouble as the nasty person was not there much any more. Well I went back, and lo and behold the person in question pounced again. He had been lurking I guess. This is an example of what he has been posting after everyone of my posts:

"Damn, Wiccan's don't have a spell for Type II Diabetes, weight loss, pain management, HTN, & hyperthyroidism?

Is there at least a spell for getting off painkiller addiction?

Where's all that Wiccan power?"

And it b ecame increasingly owrse and more vicious. Now I am sad and have written the board owner saying I am finished with her board. I choose my battles and do not wish to fight a narrow minded bigot. Another memebr in an attempt to lighten the mood make some wise cracks supposedly to be funny, but they also came off as rude and hurtful. And the new co owner became so bloody condescending towards me, I wanted to puck. I am so angry and in tears over this becasue I still just do not understand why people are like this. Can anyone here tell me?????????????
