Mea culpa. Mea culpa. Mea maxima culpa!
FOlks, I got so wrapped up in my own personal physical exhaustion yesterday that I overlooked a special day. April 17th, was the natal anniversary of a special lady who joins us here regularly. She has my deepest apologies for my oversight and failure to do this yesterday.

Please take a moment to add your best wishes for Honey here. She is a true friend who has been here throughout the good and the bad times and her support and friendship have been unwavering throughout. She has no idea how important that constancy has been to me and to Secretary Sage as well.
We wish for Honey all the best things in life for she is richly deserving of those blessings. She professes a faith that is also unwavering and then she demonstrates that faith in her daily life. She always has a kind and encouraging word when we need one the most. She is worthy of respect and admiration as well because she took on the job of single motherhood with nearly grown daughters and raised two admirable young ladies who are a credit to her. She has built a career for herself that has garnered well-deserved national recognition among her peers for her accomplishments. For those unaware, she puts her beliefs into practice every day in helping manage housing for low income people in her community and does it with sensitivity and natural goodness that her "clients" appreciate and the folks who pay the bills for her program - taxpayers in her community - consider a great return on their investment. That makes her special. Despite a home that crumbled around her ears because of a natural fault, she has managed to continue doing her work with good humor and caring. She took on two additional jobs to pay the costs associated with that added burden. How many of us would have been able to shoulder that burden and hold onto our faith as she has?
I am proud to have her as a friend and I consider myself to be blessed to have her as a special lady in my life. Thank you, Honey.
Other folks have candles on birthday cakes. Honey has to have a glowing heavenly star on hers for angels always get special honors. They deserve it and she does as much as any other angel walking among us.
