I almost gagged today when Msr DeVellepin, the French Foreign Minister presumed to lecture the United States and Britain on the need to "give Hussein more time," arguing for an 2,00th "final last chance" for Saddam to wiggle out from under the weight of his own despotism. DeVellepin and Chirac have been acting so smugly "superior" of late, daring to lecture George W. Bush as if our President were a recalcitrant school boy and they are the older, wiser, more educated, knowledgeable and sophisticated upper classmen in some preppy European school.

As the French, along with the Germans and the Russians were obstructing any reckoning day for Saddam, mouthing meaningless and incredulous pap about their intentions, they got caught!

The Washington Times newspaper has come out with a story that they managed to uncover and verify beyond any shadow of a doubt, much less a reasonable doubt. The story hit the streets this evening and it should be spreading like wildfire soon. It sure does make those like Sheen, Garafolo and others look a bit foolish and makes Chirac, DeVellepin and the others of their ilk appear as foolish.. or possibly venal... as they ought to appear in the eyes of intelligent, rational and reasonable people.

Here's the gist of the story. Look for additional damning details to be exposed over the coming days if our journalists have any integrity whatsoever. It seems a firm in France has been selling items prohibited by the UN resolutions that were passed with France's agreement and participation. The "buyer" was a purported "trading company" in the United Arab Emirates... acountry that doesn't use Mirage jets or German and Russian helicopters. The prohibited materials are ammunition, weapons-making tools and spare parts for the French-supplied Mirage jets flown by the Iraqi Air Force along with the German and Russian supplied helicopters they use. The banned items arrived in the UAE and were immediately transhipped via truck through a third country, as yet publicly unidentified, to Baghdad.

These were brand new replacement parts for the French, German and Russian aircraft. What is significant about that? Well, for one thing, they are prohibited purchases for Iraq, especially using money from the sale of its oil under the Oil For Food and Medicine Agreement Irag, France, Germany, Russia and the entire UN Security Council negotiated to help the people of Iraq.

What is also significant is that the French government tightly controls ALL spare parts - especially the new ones - for every Mirage jet in the world. These parts could not have been made or sold without official prior French government approval! The same goes for the German and Russian helicopter spare and replacement parts. It is the same with our government and all others. We keep a tight control on parts for fighter and bomber aircraft or any aircraft designated for military use. In short, all three governments HAD to know about the sale of these prohibited parts over a period of many years now. These were not used parts and there's not much of an aftermarket for jet fighter/bomber used parts or knockoffs of the OEM. The most recent shipment that was discovered took place at the end of January of THIS YEAR and there is unconfirmed (as yet) information that there has been at least one other such shipment since then.

I might also point out that these illegal shipments of banned materials took place when the UNMOVIC inspectors of Hans Blix were supposedly insuring that Iraq did not have any forbidden weapons and before he reported that Iraq was "making progress, however minimal" on meeting its obligations under UN Resolution 1441. This is the "progress and containment" of which the French, Germans and Russians spoke so eloquently as their justification to refuse to live up to their responsibilities in the UN.

Spokemen for France's Foreign Minister refused to comment on the newspaper's now substantiated and independently verified revelations on Friday night, as did spokesmen for the German and Russian delegations. Arms control experts from many nations have all stated that no such parts are ever shipped or sold in any nation without the prior knowledge and approval of its government. One source was quoted as saying, "No one sells baby formula in France without the socialist government of Jacques Chirac knowing and approving. He's far more likely to be specifically aware of the sale of Mirage jet parts to any other country than he would be of baby formula. There's no way he didn't know about this in advance and approve of it."

The very next time some ass tells me how we need to draw back from standing up to Hussein and points out how French, German and Russian people think so poorly of the US and our President, I will bitch slap the idiot into the middle of the Iraqi desert. If, and when, our forces kick Saddam into oblivion and uncover all the hidden caches of forbidden WMD they concealed from meaningless Blix and Al Baradei, we need to rub their noses in it along with the noses of those like our Dumbocan Congressional traitors and the celebrity cesspool of political thinkers.

The next time someone repeats the stupid and insipid question of Susan Sarandon in your presence, "What has Saddam Hussein done that makes him dangerous to me and this country?" there is a simple and irrefutable answer.

He has done the same things UBL, Mohammed Atta and the Al Qaeda had done to us as of September 10th, 2001. They plotted to kill our people. This time, we will strike before there are 3,000 more needlessly dead civilians and a bunch of celebrity and Congressional idiots who don't, or won't, understand that stand around and say, "Oops," and scream at the Bush administration for not warning us an attack was probable and imminent.

They tried. Those idiots refused to listen.
