Thanks for this information. That excludes most of the children I mentioned in the notes for George Smith. I didn't link any of the children christened in Gosport to the actual tree because of the uncertainty.

Can you confirm if the two girls, Lucy (1810) and Sarah Sophia Smith (1821), both Christened at Portsea, were also children of George Smith & Sally Beagley, or were they children of George Smith & Sally Tackell, who married 1807 in Portsmouth, or even another George & Sally Smith?
