• You would be best to contact AIDA or just ask your current teacher, but my understanding is that any change of school no matter where, you serve the 6 month ban. If you just stop dancing and then go back to your current school, there would be no ban. Don't know what form you are referring to, but you can join a school at any time during the year.       • Haha I promise you I'm not a teacher. I guess I would feel comfortable asking my teacher about transfers if I was moving interstate, defs not local! But as I said, I am pretty sure the rule is no matter where you transfer, you serve a ban. I think it is only if you have not danced for 12 months that you can join another school and not serve the ban which is stupid because it's supposed to be "re-styling" not a ban as such and after a year of not dancing, the dancer would surely have more to re-learn than a currently competiting dancer, but what do us paretns know, right?
