It isn't a question with a black and white answer.

If you were entitled to refunds for those years, then you will probably have no problems.

If, however, you owed the ATO money in those previous years then you may be liable for not only paying the amounts you own them, but also interest charges from when the payments should have originally been paid.

It is something you will need to sort out though.

I suggest you contact your accountant or tax agent and get your returns completed and lodged ASAP.
