Hi Holly,

Mine was pretty quiet too. Just me, my mom and my brother. We all live together. Instead of turkey, we have a whole roasted chicken. We think it has more flavor. Especially the amish one. No added ingredients. I forgot all about the parade. So I missed it. Bummer!

Take care,
Nancy in Indiana

The entire first hour of the Macy's Parade is all musical numbers from current Broadway shows. The next 2 hours are floats, a few marching bands, & balloons, with several singers thrown in. It's a 3-hour investment, but there's still something great there for everyone. Our Houston Parade lasts an hour, but brings back lots of memories of my days in H.S. Band, & marching in the Thanksgiving Parade downtown! By the time I got home, I was more than ready for the family meal--tired & hungry!
