Mere seconds after Silvith blinked in, a half wing of gleaming dragons burst in above them. At the head of the group were Merith and Toreth, whos riders seemed to be shouting at each other over the space between their dragons. Merith broke off from the group after a moment, and glided down below them. Toreth eyed the leading edge of Thread with growing anger at the enemy, feeling the desire to flame and char growing. T'shon, too, felt the same way as the emotions of his dragon overflowed. Firestone! cried Toreth to the others as he turned his head back to T'shon, who hastily dug a lump out of his sack. He gave it to Toreth, who began chewing slowly and carefully. T'shon watching the Thread with anxiety and fear, wondering if they would survive this excursion. He was totally inexperianced, and too young for this! Only eighteen turns. Too young to be a Weyrleader. But then, Irenne was the same age, and she seemed to handle it fine. Thinking of her, he glanced down. She was fiddling with the controls on her flamethrower, though her eyes were fixed on the Thread. Toreth interupted his thoughts with a request for moer firestone, which T'shon supplied. Soon the half wing was ready. Join them. Merith called to Silvith, Larkuth, and Zatenth. Larkuth rose into the air, T'miri gripping the flight straps. One of the blueriders swooped down, signaling that he would give them firestone. Larkuth deftly maneuvered underneath him to neatly catch the dropped sacks of stone, which T'miri quickly opened. Turn your head around, dear one! Larkuth as agitatedly glaring at the distant Thread, but complied at T'miri's voice. Within minutes, they were ready and joined the rank above.

((The other riders are those that have joined up over the last couple of sevendays.))
