Sireth gave a draconic grin before dashing in leaps and bounds into the water, the big bronze making quite a splash. He stopped and looked back when he thought he was deep enough to see Ch'zez mock glaring at him from the bank, somewhat wet from the weyrling's splashing.

Come on, already! the bronze called. Ch'zez laughed and ran into the water with almost as much enthusiasm as his dragon, and immediately set to washing the beast.

"Yeesh, how did you manage to get so dirty so fast?" Ch'zez wondered as grime and remnants of a sloppy meal were washed off the dragon's hide and into the lake. "You messy creature!" he joked.

Look who's calling who messy, Mr. Can't-Drink-Klah-Without-Spilling-Half-the-Glass!

Eventually they finished washing. Honestly.
