In reply to: Penny Ward 's message, "What's the difference between an archive & a backup in WatchetBurn! ?" on 02:07:48 03/19/02 Tue

The current Sonic/Nero burning software do not tell the difference between backup and archive. So I chose 'archive' few days ago (onto a DVD), and noticed that many of my files inside "My documents" in Drive C have gone missing.

What then, is the difference between 'backup' and "copying", and why is it that "Restore" is the command word to retrieved files already archived? (In backup) Cant I just drag and drop the missing files now found in my DVD? In the case of Archive, what should I do to get back my files archived in the DVD?
