Hi Rachel !

Keeping me busy :)

1. Yes, take your point. Currently if you single click on the root and then drag/drop it will go there. But I shall pass this one on because it irritated me too. Keep you posted.

2. As 1. I think.

3. Do you know what you were doing when you got the abend. The only time I've been able to reproduce this is if the program becomes confused about the disk. If I try Restore / Sessions and it hasn't re-read the disk you can either try Eject and then Load or you can just shut the program and then re-run. This forces it to re-read the disk. Was it something like this or other circumstances ?

4. Agree about the shut on write. This is on the wish list for the next release. Because it isn't packet write but direct write the disk does need to be re-read. Think we'll be able to re-read without closing the program shortly.

5. Again take your point - perhaps an option to defer the check so that more experienced users can do what they want and then check it fits - less experienced ones will probably not cut down branches ! and should therefore be forced to do it !

6. Ooh eck - what was 6. that you'll be watching ! I'll check.

7. Thanks for the log error - does sound that way. I'll see if I can reproduce it - it should be telling you there's too much to write before trying. Other than that the only potential I can see is a bad disk but I will retest to make sure that you receive a hard error to prevent you trying to write too much. If it should occur again please let me know. I'll try to reproduce the error and the bit about the "mind of its own" with exactly your tree - but its a bit late tonight !

Thanks again for your detailed response. Hope you get nice safe backups.

Kind regards,
Penny
