I was thinking but then I decided to go find Chelle and tell her how much I like her but when I found her she wass engadged in a kiss with Nelly by the pond. I didn't know what to think. I was gonna walk up to her and say somethin but maybe she wanted to kiss Nelly. I decided to just stand there and see what she had to say even though I was pissed. She wasn't my girl yet so I couldn't say anything.

With Chelle and Nelly

Me: Nelly what was that for?
Nelly: Because to get through to you it seems as if the only way is to show you how much I care about you. Chelle I love you more than anything in this world. The only thing I can think of for me and you is to be together.
Me: Nelly, I love you too. You know that but ri now...I don't know about us. Maybe this space thing is really what we need. I mean a million and one things are going through my mind ri now. I can hardly deal with it enough to take care of myself. That's why I know JoJo and Haze so well. They know what I'm goin through and understand every bit of it. Mostly because they've been goin through it longer.
Nelly: But do you wanna be with him? That's wha I wanna dirty.

I was tryin to avoid the question. I knew Nelly better than Lamz and KyJuan...once he asks a question he's gonna get that answer out of you whether you like it or not.

Nelly: Now you already know you ain't gonna get around this question so stop tryna find a way to get out of it.
Me:[smiles] I hate you Nelly. But seriously I don't know what's happening with him and me. I like him but it seems like he hates me and only talks to me because his sister, his friends, and they girls talk to me.
Nelly:[looking past me] Well maybe you should tell him how you feel now. Even though we might not end up together there's no doubt that I want you to be happy. Even if it's not with me ok? But you'll always be my baby girl, no matter what anyone says. And my first love.
Me: Thanx Nelly. And I know you've called me baby girl since I was in 3rd grade. I didn't expect that to change. And you already know you're my first love. You'll always be here[holding her heart].
Nelly: Same for you dirty.[we hugged]

Nelly then kissed me on my check where my tears were streaming down. He turned to leave and walked past Haze.

Nelly:[looking back at me] You take good care of her. And even though she's not my girl...she'll always be my number 1. So treat her good and we'll be coo; treat her like sh*t and you'll wish you were never born got it?
Haze: I wouldn't do anything to hurt her...but I understand.
Nelly: Good.[walking away]
Haze: Aye, thanx man.
Nelly: No prob.[walked out of sight]

Haze walked over towards me and I felt this akwardness between us. Like the one Nelly and I got back in the 7th grade. We stood there for about 5 minute sin silence. Until Haze spoke.

Haze: So he's yo best friend huh?
Me: Yeah somethin like that.
Haze: He's pretty coo.
Me: Yeah I know.
Haze:[the same time] Look Chelle I like you.
Chelle:[the same time] Haze I really like you.

After that we just stood there. I'm 17 yrs old and I've never acted like this with a guy before. I mean I'm always so aggressive when it comes to them so why am I bein this way now? Before I could think about what was goin on Haze kissed me again. This time with tounge and it was long sweet and good.

With the others...

Dawn: Damn I wonder what they're talkin about.
B.G: Probably some dumb pretty boy sh*t.
Dawn: B.G hush that is my sister you know.
B.G: Look the chick called me out my name...I ain't got no words for her.
Dawn: Boy quit bein so petty.
C: Yo Dawn you seen Chelle?
Dawn: Last time I saw her she was up at the pond wit Nelly.

Just then Nelly walked up.

C: Nelly where Chelle at?
Nelly: Up at the pond wit Haze.
Kel: You let her go?
Nelly: It was the right thing to do. Besides you guys no better than I do that me and Chelle are better off as friends ri now.
C: But you two seemed like the perfect couple.
Nelly: I know it's just time to move on. If it's meant to be we'll end up together again.
Lami: I'm sorry man.
KyJuan: Yeah me too.
Nelly: Naw it's coo. All I want is for her to be happy.
Von: That is so sweet. [hitting Lib and Zane] Why can't you two niggas be like that?
Lib: Zane man you betta get yo girl before I have to hurt her.
Zane: Yeah and when she hurt you back don't say sh*t to me about nothin. Just know you hit her first.
Nay: Naw Zane, Lib ain't crazy enough to hit my girl. If he was he'd know I'd hit him instantly. Ain't that ri Lib?
Lib: Oh yeah uh huh.
Nay: Thought so.

Okay let's speed things along why don't we? It is now 3 weeks later and camp will be over in a couple of days. Chelle and Dawn have been spending all their free time with each other. And Haze and Chelle did infact get together. Chelle's older sister Kaylonie is coming down to see her. They're going to drive back together. Chelle decides to tell Kay that she'd found her long lost twin...which Kay knew about but never told Chelle because their mami didn't want Chelle to know about her. They've cooked up a plan that is a sure way to get their parents together.

Kay, Chelle, and Dawn were sitting in Dawn's cabin talking about how to get their parents back together...

Dawn: Now are you sure this is gonna work?
Me: Yes I'm sure. All we have to do is tell daddy that you're in the hospital and when he comes we'll have Clara tell him mami's room number and then they'll have to talk. Then the 3 of us walk in the room and tell them we know. And ask them why they never told us about each other.
Kay: Lawd if this ain't a soap opera family drama tale.
Me: Yeah I know. But it's the only way I think daddy and mami are ever gonna see each other again.
Dawn: Then I guess this has to work. I just hope he goes for it. Who's makin the call again?
Me: Kel since she's really good at giving people bad news even if it ain't real, she'll be able to make him believe it.
Kay: I can't believe we're this old and sittin up here tryna get our parents back together.
Dawn: Well believe it sis. I mean what if mami is so close to dying that she regrets telling Chelle about me and then daddy then dies because he feels so guilty? Would you want that?
Kay: Yeah you and Chelle are twins. Both of y'all always tryna make things happen wit that what if sh*t.
Me: So you're gonna help ri?
Kay: Yeah I guess so.

Just then there was a knock on the door..........who is it?
