Subject: Fried-Pie Pie Crust Recipe

Filling is your choice. Pan fry in hot oil until brown, turn and fry until evenly brown.

Fried-Pie Pie Crust
5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 cup shortening
1 large can evaporated milk, undiluted
1 egg, beaten
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Blend in shortening; add evaporated milk and egg and mix well. Roll out on floured board. Note: To freeze, separate into 7 equal portions. Place each portion in a resealable plastic bag and freeze. When ready to use, thaw and roll out as usual.
