Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving Pete. I know I ate too much so I guess I had a great Thanksgiving.
When's the absolute best time for sauger? What's the best bait and how do you fish for them? As you can tell, I'm a semi-expert on the saugers. LOL

Pete...thanks for the link! With all the hurricanes and such, I felt like I needed to be under the ground. Katrina and Rita did a LOT of damage to our offshore production facilities.

I hope this pattern does not keep up. Way to many storms.
We need normal weather and sure need rain.

All those storms and here at my house I have had an inch of rain since July. That includes a half inch yeaterday. The ground around here is powder dry six feet deep. But most of the lakes are full. The rains have been in the upper watersheds and running down. This has been a crazy weather year. It's about 85 and high winds here today. I'm headed to Chicago for the week tomorrow and they are expecting lows around twenty and highs in the low forties. And snow and rain. Maybe it will be a welcome cool break. LOL
