Well we had a sorry day on the water. Caught 40 fish and throwed one back
that was around 3 or 4 lbs not looked bad. And had 7 whole fish. 39 weighed
90 lbs. So it was a bad day. Should have had 100+ easy today. But that is
life.
Water Temp was 67 degrees and the bait was shad guts.
All we had was light rain and some wind. Could hear thunder but never got
close to use. HEHE
Man I'm beat, Started working the fish up. has them all done in 1 hour 15
minutes. but then fixed them all up and ready to cook. Put them all up in
one pound packs. but the 2 1/2 lbs of whole fish.
So there in the freezer and ready to eat soon.
Man I sure wish you could have been there. WE had a ball. but man I'm paying
for it now. WE both lost a lot of fish that came off after starting in with
them. And both missed a lot of good bites. I had 23 and Marilyn had the
rest. AT one point I had 8 and she had 14.. LOL But I made a come back.

I hate to loose one when he really hits the bait. Were you down river? Drifting or anchored? Those fish will make a good fish fry. I hope to catch some next month when I am up that way. Only I will be over in the eastern part.

Hoot they were caught drifting and using Standard 4/0 hooks.
We were down river and had the trolling motor where the boat was moving around .07 mph and the current was running around 2.4 mph. Man some of them would try there best to rip it out of your hands.
Hope your going to be there around may the 5th?
That is when we will be fishing over that way.
